Position Summary
Advanced EV is seeking an experienced, reliable Operations & Compliance Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for regulatory compliance, dealer licensing, insurance administration, fleet and asset management, and VIN control for a growing golf cart manufacturing company operating in multiple states.
This role protects the company from regulatory risk, keeps assets compliant and insured, and enables expansion into new states. This position is ideal for someone who is comfortable navigating fragmented state-by-state regulations, building order out of ambiguity, and running day-to-day operational systems that protect the business from risk. U.S. Military Veterans are highly encouraged to apply due to their strong technical background, discipline, and teamwork skills.
Key Responsibilities
  • Manage dealer licensing and renewals across multiple states
  • Track and maintain compliance with state regulations affecting golf carts and LSVs
  • Serve as liaison with state agencies, DMVs, and regulatory bodies
  • Administer company insurance programs including fleet, liability, product, and property coverage
  • Coordinate policy renewals, certificates, and claims documentation
  • Manage company vehicles including purchasing, registration, maintenance, and disposal
  • Oversee GPS and vehicle tracking systems
  • Maintain VIN assignment, tracking, and documentation
  • Support registration and titling requirements for golf carts by jurisdiction
  • Develop and maintain SOPs for compliance and asset management

Qualifications

  • 5+ years’ experience in operations, compliance, fleet, insurance, or asset management
  • Experience supporting multi-state operations
  • Strong organizational and documentation skills
  • Comfort working with regulators, insurance brokers, and service providers
  • Manufacturing or vehicle-industry experience preferred
Required:
  • Hands-on experience managing licensing, registrations, or regulatory compliance
  • Experience administering insurance programs (fleet, liability, product, or property)
  • Ability to manage detailed, deadline-driven compliance tasks with minimal oversight
  • Proficiency with spreadsheets, document management, and tracking systems
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Preferred:
  • Automotive, LSV, powersports, or equipment manufacturing experience
  • Experience with VIN assignment, vehicle titling, or registration processes
  • Familiarity with fleet management or GPS/vehicle tacking systems
  • Experience working with state DMVs or transportation agencies
  • Prior experience supporting business expansion into new states
  • Military experience or MOS related to compliance, asset accountability, or logistics (preferred but not required).

Job Type:  Full-time-Monday through Friday
Pay: $85K to $105K
